Referral Process

 

Referral enquiries can be directed to our Referral Co-ordinator, by email - referrals@ocs-ltd.com or by telephoning 029 2039 4410.

All new referrals are discussed weekly by the Multi-disciplinary Referral Panel. If a referral meets the admission criteria then a multi-disciplinary assessment will take place, focussing on identifying need, risk assessment and patient mix and compatibility.

 

A comprehensive and robust risk management system (RAMAS) operates at the unit.

For patients who are accepted, purchasers will receive an individual treatment plan and risk assessment in conjunction with contract details.

We aim to respond speedily to referrals and to complete assessments within 10 working days (and very often within 5 working days). In exceptional circumstances assessments may be undertaken as a matter of urgency.
